Greetings Everyone, I just found out this week, that I won a job competition in Edmonton which I recently applied for. My transition to Edmonton will likely occur within the next couple of weeks. It's an excellent move for me professionally (Applications Management Coordinator for IMAS/AHRE) and I'm quite excited about it.
My heart would like to stay involved as Vice President on CLUG's board, but I'm afraid that it would not serve CLUG's interests and membership very well. I've looked at the possibilities, but consistently feel that it is CLUG that would likely suffer in the end, and I don't want to see that happen. We're growing fast and we need committed people at the helm. With this in mind, I would like to tender my resignation as Vice-President of CLUG in order to make room for someone energetic and willing to participate in helping CLUG grow. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support and friendship over the years. My goal is to remain as involved as I can, but difficult as it is, I feel me vacating my post is best for the society as a whole.
