In addition, it seems that Fedora Core is gaining momentum and becoming quite nicely supported by 3rd party rpm packagers.
For the desktop:
In my very personal, subjective opinion, I still rank SuSE ahead of FC for the desktop. Haven't tried a recent Mandrake, so I can't comment - it may be as sweet, as long as Mandrake survives.
FC is probably the cat's meow for people, who have long had RH as their favorite distro.
And FC is very nice for people, who want a close match to what many hosting service providers are running.
For the server:
RH was/is a bit of an industry standard on hosting service providers. So if you run your own server, but would like your knowledge and configurations easily transferable to many HSP's, Fedora Core is a very good option.

Ps: I wrote a very long response to your last thread :-) I did not post it :-)

What are your thoughts on the release of Fedora Core 2-test2? Is anyone planning to test it? If I can get my hands on a suitable computer, I will. Sadly, it's still a bit over a month before the stable version is released...
