Just a reminder to anyone who might be interested in programming. A special interest group meeting will take place at Nexus Computer Books on Thursday. The meeting starts at 6:30pm and ends at 8:00pm.
There will be two presentations - the first targeted at new(er) programmers and provides a road map to becoming a web developer. The second is targeted at experienced programmers, and will cover project management with the GForge tool. After the presentation will be discussions on group matters, and then free form talks either in smaller groups, or one on one. Nexus has been very generous in their support for the meeting by providing us a place to have it, and also providing a door prize. If you come to the meeting please show your support for Nexus by saying thank you, and better yet, buying a book.. :) After the meeting, we are going for beer and wings for those who'd like to discuss things further, or just socialize with other programmers.
