I've had a clarkconnect box (CC2.1 Home Edition) setup as the main household gateway for the past 6 months, it hosts a few low bandwidth family galleries. Recently I made the decision to setup another box as the gateway to handle all the internet connectivity issues (dhcp/squid etc). The clarkconect box has the ability for you to change it from being a Gateway to being a Standalone server on a network, which I've done, I've swopped it over so now it's just a normal server. I've forwarded port 80 from the new gateway to the internal IP of this server (the CC box). In addition to that I have set-up the correct DNS entries in zoneedit so that my domain will 'forward' requests to my IP address.
The problem is the clarkconnect box (based on RH9) is not accepting anything on port 80 on Eth1. I've confirmed that everything is correctly setup in httpd.conf and that it is indeed listening on port 80 on * interfaces but I'm getting no luck. In addition to this the site I am trying to access on this server is a Virtualhost which I have a feeling is the cause of the problem.
Your thoughts on this.....
