[Paraphrasing] "Boo hoo hoo <SOB>. We gave you fifty million bucks
seven months ago, and part of the deal was you were supposed to inform
us about anything untoward happening in your company during that time.
Now we find out our fifty million bucks is only worth twenty five
million! Our sources also tell us you're now the laughingstock of the
tech industry, the people you're suing (IBM) are thrashing you within
an inch of your lives in court, ... And you didn't mention a word of
this to us!"

I guess VC's don't read /. I don't know who's dumber; SCO or the Viet
Cong ... er, Venture Capitol.

No matter. The real driving force behind it all (Microsoft) can now
pick up that fifty million bucks worth of stock at half price. My
advice: Go back to "The Young and Restless" or "As the World Turns."
They both have far smarter script writers, and one heck of a better
plot line.

Who would be stupid enough to just sit and watch twenty five million
bucks evaporate?!? And they say we techs are expensive!

Boo hoo hoo! <SNIFF>
