I thought it was time to send a quick note to the list to nip this issue in the bud. It appears that there has been a proliferance of HTML email. I suspect it is some new members to the mailing list and I am not going to embarrass or single anyone out. On this mailing list the general preference is to send mail that is plain text only. There's a good number of folks that use a console based MUA (mail client) like Mutt and what have you. Others just really don't want to see a pile of markup in their incoming mail. I would recommend that those of you that are sending this type of email please desist. Although you will not be asked to leave the list, there are those here that may choose to ignore your emails when they see the HTML.
