It can be a pain to get bittorrent to work properly with your browser, I did it once but I cannot remember how. It is pretty simple to use though, if you just copy the link location in your browser and use a command like: btdownloadergui.py --url "http://abc.com/x.torrent" & or whatever the programs name is, it should work fine. You can also specify a torrent file that you downloaded to your HD. There is also a text based user interface if you want to use it in the console. If you use headless, then you don't get all the info. on your download.
