Now I got rid of that error...and qmail isnt sending again. Im too young for 
grey hair. It sent 3 messages and inexplicably quit. The qmail-send logs 
showed the 3 being sent, and registers the other new messages but never sends 
them. ps -e shows qmail-smtpd isn't running, but when I try to run it I get 
tcpserver: fatal: unable to bind: address already used. Port 25 is in use but 
by what I don't know....*cry*

at least I know my PHP script works...
