As I understand it, that's basically what we'd be doing.  :-)  Plow your way 
through a bunch of material (hopefully something you're at least somewhat 
interested in) until you're comfortable enough with it to present to others.  
It doesn't necessarily have to be old hat to you.

If I may venture a virtual appraisal, I think you've shown all the skills 
necessary to pick up any new content (and understand it) more than adequately 
for our group study purposes.  Heck, I still haven't configured an MTA or 
Apache and that's probably *nix sysadmin 101.

In short, don't be afraid of your current knowledge level; offer what you can 
and reap the benefits of others.  We're all here to learn.
