I can't believe it but I have actually gotten use to having the new terminal option on the desktop's right click mouse menu. (not the panel menu).
Now I have updated to FC2 and they have pulled it out of the KDE menu and I find myself still right clicking to open one. But for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to add it back to the menu. I can edit the panel menu and the right click menu on the panel but not the right click menu on the desktop. I know Aaron being a KDE developer might be able to shed some light on the subject.
