Hello All, including S. Keeling, I logged in as dale and tried to mount floppy, and got an error message. So I thought to myself, in order to mount floppy I have to be in the root directory. So I did a cd / and did a mount floppy and it worked. I then did a startx and selected gqview and viewed the jpg files on the floppy. And it worked just fine, including sizing, zooming, and selecting pictures.
I then did a umount flopply, and passwd. I then changed dale's password and the change succeeded. So now I am all set to get Dale to try out linux on an account on my computer. And I look forward to getting the knoppix CD from someone at tonight's meeting so that he can try out linux on his own computer. I sure am having fun with linux now!
