Hmmm well we're probably going to need a bit more information :). Like
emerge output that shows the errors you're getting as a starting point.
But I can tell you it works like a charm, I even have cygwin setup on
some 'doze boxes to cross compile i686-pc-linux-gnu binaries through distcc.
