As I mentioned, I have personally used all of these switches in a VoIP environment as well as an enhanced data environment and use nothing but Linux for the VLAN routing services, VLAN trunk aware DHCP services and firewall applications.
One warning on firewalls or any application for that matter, if you choose to use Linux as your VLAN router I do not recommend mixing tagged and untagged frames on the same physical interface. I have had numerous MTU issues when I mix and match... YMMV...
