I needed to put my LTSP terminal server (Mandrake 9.1) into a different VLAN and so I had to change the IP address and made all (that I know of) the necessary configuration changes. Now, something is hoovered...
- it takes OpenOffice about 4 minutes to launch. - it takes any KDE app about two minutes to print. When I reconfigured cups, it printed a test page immediately. Also OpenOffice can print immediately. - if I click the "Properties" box in the KDE print dialog box, it takes about two minutes to display the Properties window. AFAIK, I edited all the appropriate files: dhcpd.conf, hosts, hosts.allow, exports, lts.conf, resolv.conf. Any ideas where to look for the glitch?
