there's the command line tools, which Shawn already alluded to.

for GUIs, besides LinNeighbourhood which Shawn also mentioned there is also:

        - smb:// and lan:// URLs in KDE applications (Konqueror, file open / save)
        - smb4k (http://smb4k.berlios.de) ... it's a bit of a power-users tool ...
