has anyone tried to do the 'wget -q -O - http://go.ximian.com |sh' install of ximian desktop2 on suse9.1 personal? when i execute the install when logged in as root i get this message "The installer was unable to identify your operating system", according to the requirements there's nothing about what type of distro you need like pro or personal, it just says suse linux 9.1 which i have.
if anyone has somehow worked around this pls let me know what you did. thanks
