hi all...

for those who follow the development of KDE, there's an exciting event coming
up next week: aKademy, aka The 2004 KDE World Conference, in Ludwigsberg,
Germany.

it's at these conferences, which have been held every year since the late 90s,
that much of the bigger and cooler stuff that ends up in KDE is hashed out
at. many of us will be blogging about it as it happens and most of those
blogs are syndicated at http://planetkde.org

the website for aKademy itself is at:

        http://conference2004.kde.org

should be a fun, productive and exciting conference... and if you were
wondering why KDE 3.3 is set to be released next week of all times, i'll bet
you can figure it out now ;-)
