You shouldn't need to. It's not a security problem or anything. It's just that in a normal system, only root would be able to do anything to affect them. On your system, michael has root ability over the mozilla and realplayer binaries. Just be careful with the rm command (as in, don't!) and there should be no problem. -- Any technology distinguishable from magic is insufficiently advanced.
