Graham (and everyone else on Shaw),
Your problem is Shaw. Ever since they put in their new anti-spam software (I
think that's what's to blame - that's the general speculation in the circles
I run in), delivery times through Shaw's servers have been simply hideous.
Here's the relevant section of headers from your email, to demonstrate the
point:
Received: from [24.71.223.10] (helo=pd2mo3so.prod.shaw.ca)
by cpweb1.idig.net with esmtp (Exim 4.34) id 1C1vLk-0005dd-Li

Received: from pd5mr4so.prod.shaw.ca
(pd5mr4so-qfe3.prod.shaw.ca [10.0.141.168]) by l-daemon
(Sun ONE Messaging Server 6.0 HotFix 1.01 (built Mar 15 2004))
with ESMTP id <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> for [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Mon,

Received: from pn2ml5so.prod.shaw.ca ([10.0.121.149])
by pd5mr4so.prod.shaw.ca (Sun ONE Messaging Server 6.0 HotFix 1.01

Now, these run reverse-chronological order, so the top entry is the newest
(pardon me if I'm preaching to the choir - just being thorough in my
explanation for those who have never looked at this stuff before). So,
starting from the bottom, see how it goes from pn2ml5so to pd5mr4so at 2:24,
then from there to "l-daemon" almost instantly (probably the same box), but
then goes off into a blackhole for either an hour and 50 minutes or just 50
minutes (timezone offsets always mess me up) until it finally pops out to be
delivered to cpweb1.idig.net at 4:14 (or 3:14, which ever). Your other
email has similar headers. I have the same problem with my home email
account, and everyone I know on Shaw is having this problem (including some
businesses who are not very pleased with their choice of ISP right now).
Phone, bitch, complain. It's the way to get things fixed. :-)
