Ok I have a computer that i always try distros on and well i have gone through most of the main distros. I'll name some of the top of my head:Gentoo, although you will want a fast box since everything has to be compiled from source.
RedHat (6.2 all the way up to 9 + taroon (its like a beta or alpha Enterprise one))
Fedora Core (1,2)
Slackware (9.2,10.0)
Suse 9.1 Personel (I will be getting almost all the others from Novell next week)
Mandrake (9.2,10.0)
Server Optomized Linux
ASP Linux 9
Free BSD
Open BSD
Net BSD
And one of the Debians and i think a few more distros
Could any one name others ones they like for me to try?
Also I'm in high school and i was wanting to know the best way to learn to work with linux, secure linux, and stuff like this.

Give Libranet a try. It,s a Debian based distro, Canadian by two brothers in Vancouver, extremely stable and a joy to use. The latest version (the newest one is due out any time now) is available as a free download. Go to their website Libranet.com and check out their forum which is one of the best , friendliest and most helpful around. Based mainly on the Debian testing branch it is quite up to date.
