I've done some work with the Ektron Editor. It's a pretty robust editor, but requires a client side installation to work. It uses ActiveX technology, so is limited to IE and netscape (they have an installer for netscape). I've researched their CMS package, and can't justify their prices ($3000+ last time I checked) to my clients, when there are open source alternatives available. The CMS looked pretty thorough, but it seemed you had to do things "their way" with regards to asset management. I don't really like applications that think they know what is best for me, or my applications, but sometimes compromises have to be made when building a generic system.
My thoughts.. I've been (loosely) following CMS systems for a couple of years now, so I am curious, which one's have caught your attention. _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca
