What drew me to the Axim is the new 624 MHz processor. I think there might me 
Linux on Axim projects going, too, but they may be for older hardware.

Yes. My Palm IIIc worked great with Linux, which is why I'm still leaning 
toward the Palm. It does everything I need...for anything more than that I 
have a Laptop.
