As others have pointed out, the mean level of technical competency on this list is rather higher than in society at large. You'd be surprised to learn how many professionals using tech daily don't know how to copy and paste! LOL

I've used the "postcard" analogy with more than one associate who uses email to communicate confidential information. (People like lawyers and doctors!) They agree, but are too intimidated by the technology to comply - however much they are, in fact, breaching their profession's ethics. Mention the fact that every client they deal with in this way also needs to become compliant for the scheme to work, and any good intentions evaporate.

Expecting tech users to become knowledgeable is like desiring an "educated and informed electorate"...!
