Stable is most definately a bit out of date but the package quality and quantity rocks and, if you want the latest and greatest, testing and unstable are pretty good too. I've been pretty much using Debian for the last couple years and everytime I try something else I'm back to Debian in a heartbeat because it just works. The new installer even takes to suck out of installing Debian! Jeff
