On that note, I have a big 32" RCA TV with stand that I'm looking to give away to anyone who is willing to come pick it up downtown. The catch is that there is a problem with the tube and there's a definate red tinge to the picture. On the flip side though, I watched it for a few months while I was shopping for a new TV so it can't be that bad. I'd be happy if it helped out a fellow Linux user.
Still, it'd make a good TV for the kids or something for anyone who has them (although be prepared to explain to them why sponge bob square pants is now kind of orangish). - Scott On Mon, 22 Nov 2004 19:13:35 -0700, s. keeling <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Incoming from Nathan Wainwright: > > > > They charge a 10$ fee for donating monitors, which does turn me off abit. > > That's a provincially mandated recycling tax, which you asked for[*] > through your elected representatives. > > [*] Or failed to stop through inaction (depending on your point of view). > > -- > Any technology distinguishable from magic is insufficiently advanced. > (*) http://www.spots.ab.ca/~keeling Please don't Cc: me. > - - > > > > _______________________________________________ > clug-talk mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca > Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) > **Please remove these lines when replying > _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
