I use Google Ads on my site, and will occasionally see an MS ad on one of the linux articles. My first reaction was to try and restrict it, until I actually clicked one of the MS adds and noticed 2 things... 1) The sites in question were obviously FUD. Anyone NOT in the industry would have at least had another view to consider, but seeing as that view cannot really be supported, it becomes a non issue (IMO). 2) The MS ads pay pretty good compared to some of the other ads. By all means, if anyone want's to look at the ads I don't mind - I make a bit more when the ad is clicked.
<shameless plug>If anyone want's to check it out, my site can be seen at http://www.open2space.com - click any of the MS ads you may see... LOL</shameless plug> Overall, I think this is a case of people arguing for one thing (freedome of choice), but complaining when it doesn't happen the way they thought it should. (Not you specifically Dany..) So, seeing MS ads on Linux specific sites is a success in some ways. I'm sure there are many cases where Linux ads show up on MS specific sites....
