p.p.s. Apart from the dreadful song - which proves yet again, that even brilliant over-achievers can be quite flawed - there is another (imho) huge disclaimer about the movie, which I think is important:
The documentary ends in the dot com bubble with IPO's and champaign. To an outsider this could be misinterpreted, as the FLOSS story being part of the general dot com euphoria and subsequent crash and burn. As we all know, the FLOSS story is still being written in a very big way (much bigger then in 2000). Contrary to the typically frantic pace in the technology arena, FLOSS seems to be moving somewhat (frustratingly) slowly, but it sure seems like in the grand scheme of things there is no stopping it, all temporary detours and setbacks notwithstanding.
I hope the CBC show will touch upon this issue and mention some of the amazing developments since the end of the movie.
