I spoke with Dave on this over the phone. But just in case someone else is interested...
When you download the eval ISOs for SLES, there is a page that tells you to do the download, and register. If you register (free), you have a username/password you can use for the updates. This is NOT the same account you used to do the download. I'll let you know in a month if they expire the account... :) Shawn On Saturday 05 February 2005 17:27, bogi wrote: > Hi Dave. > Choose a non-us server, like Australia or something else :-) > Cheers > Szemir > > On February 4, 2005 10:29, Dave Watkins wrote: > > Hi Shawn & Others, > > > > Just wondering if anyone's solved the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server login > > issue? > > > > To refresh memories, I can install SLES but am prompted for a Username > > and Password when attempting to update from a remote source. > > > > Anyone have an answer? > > > > Cheers, > > > > Dave Watkins > > > > > > > > _______________________________________________ > > clug-talk mailing list > > [email protected] > > http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca > > Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) > > **Please remove these lines when replying > > _______________________________________________ > clug-talk mailing list > [email protected] > http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca > Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) > **Please remove these lines when replying _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
