I made the offer to the list because I know that there are some people out there that do not wish it post to the list with such a simple question, (let alone post a more serious CLUG related question.) I also realize that some on the list find these kind of posts as SPAM and for that I will take full responsability for. > > Actually, isn't there a website where people can just go and pick up a gmail > invite themself? I don't know of such a website and if there was one I would hesitate before subscribing unless the site was the GMail site itself. There are post on BB / Forums but would you honestly respond to a posting of an Email that you've never met? Or would you be more trusting to a person that is a member of a local group where the oppertunity to meet face to face is there? > > Gmail invites are like spam that people send to their friends. I'm sorry that you have such strong convictions against GMail but I only wanted to provide others with an oppertunity that they may not have had. As a peace offering I would like to send you a GMail invite....joking. :-) (Sensing some heat coming from this thread, I hope the previous line will help disapate that.) _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
