But, if anyone dares to use any of those free-to-use patent against any sun product, including but not limited to solaris, they will be hammered down fast. So Congratulations Aaron, good forsight. I could not believe Sun would actually do the openSolaris thing, let alone the patent thing, but now i have more eyes on the Sun's Common Development and Distribution License (CDDL), it seems that they truly did not do it, although it looks like they did.
