I seem to remember some some security concerns with PPTP/L2TP as well. It is still shipped with windows today, though win2k and up support ipsec as well.
Thanks, that is good to know. I will look into that right away. One thing I really like about this process, though I try to help -- I'm the one that seems to be helped along the way. (Just an observation -- really appreciated all the same.)
IPSEC seems to be a popular choice now. OpenVPN is also an option as it
supports win2k/xp as well as linux. FYI the february issue of the Linux
Journal has a good article comparing various VPNs that run under linux. Certainly worth picking up for that article alone.
Can anyone tell me where to pickup a copy of the Journal -- I use to get mine off and on from Nexus.
