FYI - this may be of interest to CLUG members: ----------------------------------------------------- The Calgary Unix Users Group has an exciting schedule of speakers over the next two months:
April 26th: Peter Gulutzan from MySQL will be presenting the new version of MySQL. Peter works for MySQL AB, the company behind MySQL. May 18th: (exact date still to be confirmed): Richard Stallman. Founder and President of the Free Software Foundation (FSF), an organization dedicated to promoting computer users' rights to use, study, copy, modify, and redistribute computer programs. The FSF is the primary sponsor of GNU project, a complete UNIX style operating system which is free. May 24th: The team who wrote OpenBSD Packet Filter (PF) will be in town and doing a technical presentation on PF (with special attention paid to newer and more unique features and how these can be used together effectively for DoS mitigation, high availability, and load balancing). All CLUG members are welcome at these events. Surf over to www.cuug.ab.ca to get the details and to register. Please pass this on to others in your organization that may benefit from these presentations. ------------------------------------ Regards, Greg King _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
