Awww, you took a somewhat amusing post and totally turned into a soul-searching thing. Shame on you.
I think that those of you who know Kari and I, we are pretty laid back people. I may make fun of her but she is my best-friend and I am happy (most of the time) that she takes an interest in the same things that I do. > > 2) She is able to tell when you are feeding her a line... I have never done this BTW, I just couldn't come up with anything better to illustrate the point. > Again, chicks do this. You just have to get over yourself, no one thinks > you're sexy, and you're lucky to have her. I'm crushed Jesse... you heartless person you. And yes, I know that I am lucky to have her. I tell her often. > > 4) She feels it is her duty to critique your presentation skills... > while > > you are presenting... in front of other people > > So you're saying that she cares about you enough to take an interest in > what you're doing, and believes in you enough to think that you can > improve on it? See, again, you totally killed this humour-wise. She does help me grow as a person... it's when she does it when it is least appropriate that bug me. Pet peeve. > > 5) It really sucks when she becomes more proficient at something than > you > > Maybe true, but being better than you is not really hard to achieve :). Ouch!! > You know this is all fun and games Jarrod. I'm sorry if I've been an ass > hole, but I never pretended to be anything else. I've also been in the situation > where I've taken the people I love the most for granted, and it's come > back to bite me in the ass. Of course Jesse, I don't believe that you are an asshole. We make fun out you lots. It was my turn. I meant nothing to be sexist... let's not open that can of worms again.
