I'm mac newbie, too. According to my research, it should be fairly
easy to install, either dual or single boot. But, as I said, it is not
for me (right now).<lyric> I hit the wall, but there should be the

Regarding partitioning,  you have to take care of your boot
partitions. Both should be under first 8G because iMac won't recognise
them. Again, I'm no mac guru (no linux guru, either, but can swim in
linux waters, no fear), everything what I'm talking was learnt day or
two ago.
