that's why i suggested a second machine. one for the website, email lists, etc. and one to offer tier 2 members in good standing an account from which to run sessions (i think FreeNX is a perfect candidate here) and you don't need to poll for hardware requirements, just assign a budget and the task to someone qualified in the group and let them have at it. they can report their proposal to the group to ensure nothing overly silly is done, but it's not a complex process. > As a former Executive and party to some cursory plans to do this I am > excited at the possibility of us being able to do this on a larger scale > than we originally envisioned.
