for a gamecon that's no big surprise really ... gaming is pretty much a 
windows world still. there are linux games, but the coverage isn't near 
complete so if you are REALLY into the gaming scene it's usually a windows pc 
or a game console for you =/

it's a hard market for linux to break into, too, due to the small % of the 
home market we have versus the amount of $ involved in maintaining a linux 
port and the investment it takes to put together a quality game. what's even 
sadder is that apparently a number of openGL games are actually developed on 
linux but then ship as windows-only. huzzah.

they have booths at this gamecon? what sort of booths and how popular are they 
(e.g. are they mostly ignored or are they pretty busy)? what was the 
attendance like this year?
