Well we made a pretty good showing all things considered, there was seven people that I knew. The theatre was pretty full considering it is a documentary. This was a very touching film about some of the most fascinating creatures on the planet... and I am not just saying that because the penguin is Linux' mascot either, although that helps. This was pretty much a year in the life of the Emperor penguins. I learned several things I didn't know about them. As Kari said to me after, this movie should be shown to people who are having problems having children because if these creatures can manage to conceive and rear their young in one of the harshest environments on the planet, then there is hope for anyone. It was interesting so I thought I would quote it. This movie had many memorable moments. It was a nice blend of humour and sadness. Yes, there were penguins harmed during the making of this movie but there were also many, many beautiful scenes of the penguin chicks in their most adorable phase. I recommend that anyone should see this movie, Linux fan or not. Obviously it has nothing whatsoever to do with Linux... at least nothing I know of beyond showcasing the Linux mascot. 5 herring out of 5 from me ;) _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
