If its a sun monitor then there may be two things to check out: 1) some of these monitors were not multisync and the only machine you can get them to work with is the series of machine that they were sold with. IE. if they were sold with the sun then that card has timing matched to the monitor. 2) the connector on these monitors is usually either BNC type RGB connectors or the other type is 3W13 connector. A VGA to 3W13 connector can be picked up, probably at VFXWEB or at Alberta Computer Cable (if you have lots of money). Check it out before you make your decision.
