I looked into this some more today. It looks as though the soonest it will happen is sometime in early January. I'll be nailing down day/time in the next few days. The location would be at their facilities downtown, and an evening session is do-able.
With regards to tying this in with a FOSS application, I don't know how likely this would be - afterall, something like GNUCash is a topic in itself, whereas the offer was for something along the lines of awareness of what it takes to be a contractor (though a little more in depth than that) - I'm not sure on a specific title just yet. The offer comes from a commercial business who are only loosely related to FOSS/Linux, so I don't forsee us connecting this with Linux or FOSS - unless we choose to do so in another session. Maybe we can plan a SQL-Ledger workshop shortly after? or GNUCash? I'll post more once I have more details.
