Hello All, For several months I am committed to a class on Wednesday nights, so I will not be able to attend next month's meeting after all. I might even have to wait until summer break to attend a CLUG meeting. It is a good thing I have my membership paid up.
I will be lurking around the list and will share my experiences with Kanotix as I learn how to configure the system. I figured out how to configure the printer on my own, and hope to configure my Canon scanner and also hope to learn how to extract my home directory and all its subdirectories from my home directory to a directory I called backup05. Next I will get a decent set of headphones and will configure my sound card. In an earlier letter I detailed how I discovered how to configure my printer. If anyone else is having trouble configuring a printer in Kanotix I can repeat that letter.
