Try searching google with the following:

firefox 1.5 filetype:deb

I have not installed any of these (I usually wait until the distro
packages it) but if you really are impatient you can try installing one
of these debs.  Make sure the one you are installing has i386 in the
filename somewhere and not alpha, sparc, ppc, mips,
somerandomtoasterthatdebianinstallsto, etc.

Also, these sites may be of some use for installing the binary you
downloaded already:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=634422 (which appears to be
down right now).
