You can have CBC Radio 1010 make an event announcement on their early evening program. They require you to leave the 'exact' message on their system - this events number is for messages only. Sorry I don't have the number handy, I might be able to dig it out tomorrow. Their protocol requires messages to be short, descriptive and giving them a few days notice.
