So I go to the CLUG site looking for information about LinuxFest. I go to this page http://www.clug.ca/node/400 and see the link to LinuxFest. I click on the link and what do you know I end up going to Microsft.com.

Why? Because the link does not link to http://www.linuxfest.ca but rather it links to http://http//www.linuxfest.ca and for some reason when you type http://http:// in to your location bar in FireFox on a Linux system it takes you to Microsoft. I think this is a feature of FireFox to take the first result from Google and searching for http:// on Google brings up Microsoft as the first result.

Good job who ever did this. When people come to CLUG looking for information on LinuxFest you send them to Microsoft.

Maybe if someone has a moment to fix this link that would be nice.

This email is not intended to be hurtful of insulting. Just a friendly poke to wake you up.
