I'm toying with the idea of editing small mpeg files i would capture
from a game. More for showing off than anything useful. :)

Hmmm....i could get an artist friend to make some graphics for the
intro, then add some sound and the captured video, package it up and
put it on a website. That reminds me, i've got to see if i can get the
game (neverwinter nights) working on my linux box.

On a related note, some neverwinter nights server admins have changed
their server's operating systems from windows to linux. Its rare that
I hear complaints. There's usually a lot of good feedback from both
admins and players alike.
