Hello all. It's been awhile since I've posted, however I have a question which I'd like to submit to the clug hive mind. I'm setting up plain old file and print server. I've installed SUSE 10 onto a system drive, which I partioned for log growth and all the usual safety stuff. However I have two 300GB drives that I've mirrored, and will be using as the network shared storage. My question is where is the UNIX place to mount this file system. Should I create a new directory at the root of the tree. Should I create a directory in mnt. Is there some other place where something like this should go.
I'm looking for UNIX best practices. _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
