Dan's probably asleep at this poin (midnight shift)t, but I can answer.  Linux runs Quake, Wolfenstein (enemy territory), Unreal Tournament, and lots of other games that have Linux versions.  Dan is the expert - he will get you going with them.  All you will have to bring is a capable computer; ie. 3d card, lots of RAM,  0.5 Gb of free disk etc.
