Hi All. I've posted the image files used for the flyer and some other files to my personal blog at http://grover.open2space.com/node/18. Rather than re-uploading everything to another server, I'll just point you there. Included in this list of files is an image showing where the UofC is in Calgary for our out of town visitors, and also a map of the University campus, indicating the event location (the ICT Building) and parking.
Feel free to take copies of any of these files for your promotion efforts. The 4x6 flyer, and the business card sized file are both at 300 dpi, assuming they would be printed rather than displayed on a web page. There is one minor issue with the current batch of flyers that were available at the last meeting. We identify the room numbers, and that the event is at the UofC, but we did not identify which building those rooms were in. (DOH!!!) That's been resolved with these files, as well as mention of free registration. But, if anyone asks, it's in the ICT Building. Things are starting move move very very quickly now, and the excitment is building (for me at least). A number of the outstandng issues are falling into place, which is great to see at this point in time. Please contact Kin if you are interested in volunteering for the event - we are going to need approx 25 volunteers unless we start multi-tasking people. We'll be organizing the volunteers in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for EVERYONE's help thus far!
