I know Dell inkjet's are rebranded Lexmark's and I think laser's are the same. But then again I do rememeber selling a samsung laser that was actaully a rebranded lexmark...sooo.... With regards to cartridges....you HAVE to purchase them from Dell. There is a special chip or something in them that essentially kills any aftermarket or other vewndors products going in them.
