Until recent discussions on this list I hadn't heard much about XGL but I've been watching demo videos and drooling on my keyboard.
One question - all the examples I've seen are Gnome. Is it/will it be possible to see some of these effects in KDE as well? As was said - not practical but man it looks cool!
