I have approx 80 x86 cds, and 20 64bit cds. I had asked for 300, but they only sent 100. Beggars can't be choosers though. :) As for other distos, it would be nice, but I don't know how useful it would be, or how many CDs we'll need. That's the hard part right now - nailing down numbers. Simon, would you be willing to take on getting CDs burned? I think the rest of us are getting a tad bogged down with other aspects of the event (i.e. TOOOO MUCH TO DO!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!! ). Maybe plan a CD burning party? I would be willing to pick up some CD labels for it... As for numbers, the last I heard we have approx 45 people pre-registered. That's good news, as we're expecting 2 or 3 times as many people to come out as registered (purely a guess, but here's hoping). That would translate to approx 135 people, with the current numbers. Do we burn enough CDs for everyone? or just put a healthy stack out and let interested people grab copies? How many of each disto? etc. If you're willing to run with this, I'm more than happy to delegate those decisions, and I think the rest of the planning commitee would be too.. :) Shawn _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
